Hell in the Hallway,

Light at the Door

When one door closes, another one opens...
but it can be hell in the hallway.

The book is here!

Is anything changing in your life?

The hallway is that place between jobs, between relationships,

after a loss or during an illness … any period of uncertainty when

you know life will never be the same, but you don't know what's

coming next.

Change and transition happen to everyone. You might think the circumstances

would make a difference. Death is different from divorce, or job loss is different

from retirement.

Yet the spiritual work of the hallway is pretty much the same for everyone.

  • Acceptance
  • Surrender
  • Prayer
  • Forgiveness
  • Asking for help, both human and divine
  • And knowing you have the power to create what you want behind the next door.

Spiritual maturity is remembering your life is always in process, and any given moment is propelling you toward greater good, even the moments that hurt like hell.
